I first discovered Cat’s yoga & dip classes at Lake 32, earlier this year. I was immediately hooked, recognising the power of doing yoga outdoors (particularly when the sun is shining), surrounded by trees and listening to the sounds of the lake in the background.
I love the flow of Cat’s yoga sessions and I’m always impressed with how Cat ties movements together so seamlessly. Ending the session with a dip in the lake has been magical and it’s set me on a path of winter swimming, which is something I never thought I’d be able to do.
I’ve loved being a part of the Meditation & Dip group at the lake, chatting with other members and understanding a bit more about everyone’s personal goals. I’m happily following Cat around the Cotswold area currently, as she develops her offerings with new yoga classes and BREATHE workshops.

Cat has taught yoga at Coberley C of E to a range of children from 6 to 9 years of age. She made the sessions hugely enjoyable, educational, and a lot of fun. The children benefitted hugely from the yoga and the children would love to have such sessions as often as possible.
Miss Booth, the class teacher remarked that “All the children were fully engaged. Cat had a great rapour with the children and I was really impressed how all the children, some who find physical activity demanding, made huge progress and fully engaged in the sessions.”
The school are hoping that Cat will come back and do many more sessions when she has time.
ANDREW MILNER, 2018
The last time I tried yoga was October 2019.
At the time I found it frustrating – I found it difficult to move, and was frustrated with my stomach getting in the way. I found the idea of acknowledging my whole presence at the time uncomfortable both physically and emotionally.
Today I tried it again and I noticed a few things I couldn’t do last time I tried.
* I can lie flat on my back pain free, and sit back up again (this is pretty big actually as before I started doing any fitness I pretty much had back pain daily)
* I can do Childs pose
* I can do downward dog
* I can move more freely than I thought I could
Thank you Cat for recommending an earlier class of yours to try, I’ll be back for more.
